Lived in Laguna Niguel, 33 years, attended Saddleback Jr. College, worked 16 years for Capistrano Unified School District, Orange County. Also V.P. in family corporation until 2005. Jim and I retired and Moved to Acworth, Ga. in 2006. Wanted to be near son and family. Belong to Brookstone Golf and Country Club. Learned to play golf, still learning! Formed a group of 9 hole ladies Chix with Stix, coordinate weekly play and known as "Ma Hen". Active in club events along with Jim who became elected to our Men's Golf Assoc. board member 6 months after moving here, to become president one year later. Love living here, though we don't get to the "city" too much! Miss Ca. but not the politics!!

Wow! I am so impressed with our classmate's recollection of our past 50 years! I've lived out of Chula Vista for 45 years but have so many nice memories of what our Chula Vista was then. I love the responses from those of you who are sharing with all of us our beloved teachers, classmates, Mel's, Dairy Queen, remember Bob the Blind Man who sold papers on 3rd Avenue? (Hope the p.c.police aren't reading this!), but how about the Vogue? I'm sure there are many memories some we love and some not so much!! Oh, and can't forget Chub's, the pool hall my mom always whisked me past! I'm Having so much fun getting to know all of you again and looking forward to September!
