I remember Robert clear back to 6th grade at Hazel Goes Cook Elementary.  I remember his glasses and his off-white hair and nice smile.  I really don't like thinking of some nicer people not around anymore and all the rotten ones surviving.  Remember our 'retard' thing against our competing elementary schools:  Hazel Goes Cooks Kelloggs Rice (Krispies)?

Some words in memory of a nice guy, from an old classmate from Mr. Gonzales's 6th grade class at Cook Elementary & Castle Park Junior High & Hilltop, Susan Frise

Robert Perdue had a distinguished career with the Sweetwater Authority as Superintendent of Water Quality.  He designed the new treatment plant which is named after him.

His contribution is mentioned in the book Chula Vista Centennial by Steven Schoeherr.

Happy to know all that about Robert, that he was so successful.  And as a reply to Bruce Wilson, it was Lillian J. Rice Elementary School on L St (I think) the little rhyme referred to.
