Mike was a good friend. We kept in touch for many years. I'm not sure how we first met, probably at Hilltop Jr. High. His dad was a Auto Tech (mechanic in the old days) at Fusons Garage on "F" Street. My parents had our cars serviced there.

I remember many nights having dinner at his house on Corte Helena. Great family. I remember he had a younger brother (Gary Shadoan - HHS Class of '67). Mike was married to Kathy Sweet in 1972. I believed they lived in Phoenix at one time, where Mike started drag racing an AMC AMX muscle car. Mike was a true "Car Guy".

Mike was a successful building architect. He later moved to Washington state where he worked for an architectural firm for many years.

After High School we would keep in touch every few years as we moved about in our journey through life. He would always join me at the race track if he was nearby. I have many fond memories of Mike and his friend, and our classmate, Mike Robinson being our pit crew at a 4-Hour endurance sports car race at Riverside in the late 60's. We would meet at Seattle Int. Raceway whenever I raced there and he would visit us in Carlsbad whenever he was in So. Cal.

Mike passed away in the State of Oregon on 28 November 2004. God bless and RIP my friend.

I knew Mike fairly well too. He was a pretty smart fellow and had a great personality.  Been to his house at least once.

It looks like many entries are missing because in recent years there are very few entries at a time when entries would normally be growing leaps and bounds.  It is surprising that so many died so young.  Guess that is a normal bell curve though.
