Here is the obituary for June Doyle:

      June Poukkula, 62, was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, April 13, 2009. Her strength was an inspiration to all. June valiantly fought cancer and went on to live life to the fullest, in spite of health issues that would have defeated most. She and her husband Dan travelled extensively through Europe and the United States. They were avid fans of the "Tour de France" watching it both in person and on television in support of fellow cancer survivor, Lance Armstrong. June's favorite travel destination was Hawaii, which is where, along with interment at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, her ashes will be scattered. June grew up in Chula Vista, where she and Dan raised their family. From the banking industry to the Sweetwater Adult School, she was a huge success in all her endeavors. June was a wonderful friend to all with a heart as big as could be and a fabulous sense of humor. The best daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she is survived by countless friends and family including her loving husband of 43 years, Dan; mother Adalinda Doyle; brother, Pat Doyle; children, Danny (Lori), Barbara (Javier), John (Karla), and grandchildren, Samantha, Julian and baby on the way. She will be missed more than words can say, but her incredibly bright light and shining spirit will live with us forever. Memorial Service on Monday, April 20th, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Chula Vista, 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests

Thank you, George, for reminding me of beautiful June Doyle Poukkula.  Dennis and I attended the memorial for June.  It was a beautiful remembrance of a gracious, lovely person.  I saw June frequently in the office of the Resource Center of CVAS where I worked for almost 20 years.  She never talked about her struggle with cancer but bore it valiantly.  I never saw June "down."  She was always upbeat and worked hard to help us all out with our requests.  She remained absolutely dear until the end.  I am so glad I got to know her better in our "after high school" years.  She was an inspiration to me, and a joy to know.  As the program at her memoral said:

In celebration of a life well-lived;

A tribute to a very special soul

Who has forever changed our lives.

We will miss you in all we do;

But you will forever remain in our hearts.
