Thomas Armstrong passed away on December 12, 2013 of lung cancer.  After graduation from Hilltop High School he attended Humboldt University in Arcata, CA majoring in Journalism.  He later studed at San Francisco Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree.   He served in the ministry of the Presbyterian Church-USA at Orick, CA.  The last 10 years of his ministry were spent as the Stated Clerk of the Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery, from which he retired in 2012.  He is survived by his wife and two sons.
